Author Guidelines

Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computational Research (JAMCR)
Society for Mathematical and Computational Research

The Journal of Applied Mathematics and Computational Research (JAMCR) invites original, high-quality research contributions in applied, computational, and theoretical mathematics. Authors must prepare their manuscripts strictly according to the following guidelines prior to submission.

1. Manuscript Categories

  • Research Articles
  • Review Articles
  • Short Communications
  • Case Studies / Technical Notes

General Submission Requirements

  • Manuscripts must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.
  • All authors must approve the final manuscript before submission.
  • Submissions must strictly follow JAMCR formatting and structural guidelines.
  • Manuscripts should be prepared in MS Word (.doc/.docx) or LaTeX (.tex + PDF).
  • All mathematical models, results, and analyses must be clear, accurate, and reproducible.

2. Formatting Standards

  • Font & Spacing: Times New Roman, 12-point, justified text, 1.15 line spacing throughout.
  • Page Layout: A4 size with 1-inch margins on all sides.
  • Section Headings: 12-point, bold, left-aligned.
  • Paragraphs: 0.5-inch indentation; no extra spacing before/after paragraphs.
  • Figures & Tables:
    • Number consecutively (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.).
    • Captions: Times New Roman, 11-pt, italic (below figures, above tables).
    • All figures and tables must be cited in the text.
    • Use high-resolution images (minimum 300 DPI).
  • Equations: Number sequentially and align equation numbers to the right (e.g., Eq. (1)).
  • Units & Symbols: Use SI units consistently.

3. Manuscript Structure

  1. Title Page: Title, author names, affiliations, corresponding author email (ORCID optional).
  2. Abstract: 150–250 words summarizing objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
  3. Keywords: 4–6 relevant keywords separated by commas.
  4. Introduction: Background, motivation, objectives, and significance.
  5. Materials and Methods / Methodology: Mathematical models, algorithms, datasets, numerical schemes.
  6. Results and Discussion: Results with interpretation and comparison to existing literature.
  7. Conclusion: Key findings, limitations, and future research directions.
  8. Acknowledgment (Optional): Funding bodies or contributors not listed as authors.
  9. Conflict of Interest: Declare any conflicts or state: “The authors declare no conflict of interest.”
  10. Author Contribution Statement (Optional): Use CRediT taxonomy.
  11. Data Availability Statement: Public, on request, or restricted.
  12. References: APA 7th Edition format.

4. Submission Checklist

  • Manuscript formatted according to JAMCR guidelines
  • Title page with complete author details
  • Abstract and keywords included
  • Figures, tables, and equations correctly numbered
  • References formatted in APA 7th Edition
  • Conflict of interest and data availability statements included
  • Approval from all authors obtained

5. Plagiarism & Originality

  • All submissions undergo plagiarism screening.
  • Similarity must remain within acceptable academic limits.
  • Plagiarism, duplication, manipulated data, or unethical practices will result in rejection.
